How it was formed: Ancient Reefs: Prehistoric coral colonies lived in warm, shallow seas and were eventually buried by sediment. Mineral Replacement: Over millions of years, silica-rich groundwater seeped through the remains, gradually replacing the original calcium carbonate skeleton with agate, chalcedony, or quartz while preserving the unique flower-like coral patterns.
